A fun exercise in "Nature Morte", even if the roses are looking quite alive.
i'm pretty happy with the stone planter. Since i use to retouch real concrete planters, statues and potteries, i use the same coloring technics to get the "stone" effect. green mosses and limes are very effectives before painting the shadows.
save the main lines aside to reapplied them on top of the whole thing. Therefore, contours and lines remain sharp above these gallons of paint.
All black line hand-drawn. Colors 100% Photoshop CS2. No textures applied and no lighting effects, just old school painting skills, baby.
